Few small press comics, or books in general for that matter, still intrigue after multiple readings. Not so with Autopsia by Jemma Webster. In the couple of years I’ve had it knocking around my bookshelves I’ve pulled it out on a number of occasions to marvel at its glorious psychosexual blackness.
A dreamlike David Lynch-esque narrative thread stitches together a variety of carnivalesque horrors, lots of cupboards, rabbits, masks and dissection, all rendered in an incredible pointilistic pen style which neatly heightens the general sense of disquiet.

I’m hoping to see more of the same some time, for now get yourself a copy! Websie here! Buy it here!
