Those of you with the remaining mental faculties to cast you mind back to the halcyon days of over a week ago, may remember the attempts of J Homersham and myself to create a Lois Wain inspired Halloween mask.

Here is the mask in progress, once the undercoat has dried, cheap acrylic paint is applied.

Here they are finished and drying, I think that mine (on the right) is the inferior of the two. I realise now that it’s unreasonable to expect to be able to capture the psychedelic visions of advanced psychosis with paper-mache and acrylic paint.

And here is the finished mask sported by myself. Shit-your-pants-scary, I’m sure you’ll agree
